The Food Pantry is sustained by nine churches in eastern Mecosta County. With wide community participation in food drives and funding, the pantry served 5122 individuals in 2015. This is a drop of 1687 from 2014. The Pantry serves a wide geographical area, impacting 24 communities. In 2015, the highest levels of need were Barryton, Mecosta, Remus, Big Rapids, Morley, Rodney, Stanwood, Lakeview and Blanchard. God's Helping Hands receives no federal or state funding. Donations are tax-deductible. We are a community taking care of our neighbors.

2015 statistics reflect the improving economy in the area. They may also reflect the success of Angels of Action Backpack Blessings in local schools.

Please patronize the Resale Store as it provides 72% of the funding for God's Helping Hands. The Store is open to all, pricing is kept low to serve low income people, but you can pay whatever you think is a fair price.
